Summary

In the face of adversity, the World Science Festival in Brisbane encountered an unexpected challenge when severe flooding hit the city, rendering most venues inaccessible. Undeterred, the resilient WSF team swiftly adapted and, with our support, seamlessly transformed their event into a virtual broadcast from the Inverse Studio.

For an entire week, we embarked on an exhilarating journey, delivering a plethora of informative and captivating sessions from our state-of-the-art studio. Equipped with full production facilities, including four high-definition cameras, vision switching, directing, video and graphics playback, and top-notch audio and lighting setups, we ensured the virtual experience was nothing short of extraordinary.

With our gigabit fiber connection and a soundproofed environment, we brought the world-class sessions to audiences worldwide in real-time, maintaining the sense of togetherness that the WSF embodies.

In the process, we had the privilege of collaborating with brilliant professionals from the scientific community, enriching not only our expertise but also our understanding of the fascinating world of science.

The World Science Festival's pivot to a virtual broadcast was a testament to adaptability and innovation, and we are honoured to have played a pivotal role in making this event a resounding success.
