When the Royal Australian Navy marched through Brisbane, we were on the cameras making sure the view in King George Square was just as good as the one from the front of the crowd.

Inverse delivered the live camera coverage feeding the square’s big screen, following the Navy personnel and ceremony through the city and bringing the details of the procession onto one of Brisbane CBD’s biggest screens.

FROM THE STREET TO THE BIG SCREEN

There’s something pretty impressive about seeing a naval procession move through the middle of Brisbane. There’s also a lot you can miss when you’re watching from behind a crowd.

Our crew followed the action as it moved through the city, picking up the formations, ceremonial details and people within the procession for the live feed.

Back in King George Square, those pictures were going straight to the big screen - turning what could have been a distant view into something the whole square could watch properly.

No recap. No waiting for an edit. What our cameras were seeing was what Brisbane was seeing.
